Overnight Train Tour Package taking the Algoma Central Railway Passenger Train to Errington's Wilderness Island Resort for wildlife and nature viewing in the Chapleau Wildlife Preserve. You take the Algoma Central Railway Passenger Train out of Hawk Junction Station which is a spectacular 3 hour drive north of Sault Ste Marie along the Beautifully Scenic Lake Superior Coast. This overnight tour includes the Algoma Passenger Train from Hawk Junction Station and a night with meals and pontoon boat nature tours at Errington's Wilderness Island Resort on Lake Wabatongushi in the Chapleau Wildlife Preserve.

• Return Train Tickets included from Hawk Junction Train Station (Hawk Junction is the mid point station approximately 15 minutes east of Wawa)
  • Passenger Train departs Hawk Junction Station for Wabatongushi Lake Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays
  • Passenger Train departs Wabatongushi Lake for Hawk Junction Station Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays
  • Train takes approximately 1-1/2 hours from Hawk Junction Station to Wabatongushi Lake where you will be met by the Errington Family and staff and taken by Pontoon boat to Errington's Wilderness Island Resort 15-20 minutes down the lake.
  • Train leaves Hawk Junction Station at approximately 3:30 pm and arrives at Wabatongushi Lake at approximately 5:00 pm
  • Departure train leaves Wabatongushi Lake at approximately 11:00 am and arrives at Hawk Junction Station at approximately 12:30 pm.
• If you would like the added adventure of a float plane fly-in or fly-out option, Hawk Air Float Plane Base is on Hawk Lake approximately 1/2 mile/ before Hawk Junction Station.
  • Hawk-Air will provide any shuttling needed between their float plane base and Hawk Junction Station as part of their service.
  • Float Plane Services are charters and can be arranged any days of the week, at any time during daylight hours.

  • Deposits can be made by VISA or Mastercard over the phone.
  • Reservation confirmation is mailed or emailed to you after deposit is processed.
• Cancellations
  • Cancellations received more than 3 months before departure date receive full deposit refund less $10/person processing fee.
  • Cancellation received less than 3 months before departure date, deposits may be transferred as a non-refundable deposit for another vacation date at the discretion of Errington's Wilderness Island Resort management.
  • Deposits can be transferred to any other person, at any time, if that person does not yet have a reservation.
  • Balance can be paid before departure from Errington's Wilderness Island Resort with VISA, Mastercard, Debit Cards or Cash in Canadian or US Funds
