Our Resort

Our resort is situated on 2 secluded islands on Lake Wabatongushi, the second largest lake in the Chapleau Game Preserve. We have very comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, nature trails and great fishing. You can visit us either by float plane or the famous Algoma Central Railway. Wabatongushi Lake covers over 3,000 ha (10,000 acres), has 27 flowing rivers and streams, over 70 uninhabited islands, and numerous sand beaches. Lake Wabatongushi is completely inside the Chapleau Game Preserve and there are ample opportunities to watch wildlife such as moose, black bear, loons and bald eagles.
